Oasis at Knebworth Park: The History Behind the 2027 Shows
Oasis headlined Knebworth Park on 10 and 11 August 1996, for 125,000 people a night, 250,000 in total. No other Oasis-as-a-band performance at Knebworth Park was verified in the research pass.
The 1996 shows were a standalone headline weekend, not a festival bill headed by another act. Support was split by night, so no combined support list is published here as if all acts played both nights.
Knebworth Park is not a football stadium. It is an open-air park, with a concert capacity of 125,000 in estate and site data, and a concert history that runs from the first rock concert in 1974 through Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Queen.
In September 2027 Oasis return to the exact field of the band's most cited audience peak, for six nights. This article does not claim 2027 will beat 1996 or be the biggest ever, and it leaves 2027 attendance blank until the shows happen.
Oasis Knebworth 2027 lineup
Oasis headline Knebworth Park on 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26 September 2027, with Richard Ashcroft as the confirmed special guest across the six nights.
Ashcroft is High for the original four nights and Medium for the added 25 and 26 September nights, where coverage rests on later all-shows summaries rather than a fresh Knebworth-specific statement. The guide states that difference plainly.
No additional support act is officially announced for Knebworth, and no running order or stage times are announced. Betting favourites are not bookings, and the guide does not list them as such.
